Designed on a small 37’ x 85’ lot, this Southeast Portland home is an integrated design that includes rainwater harvesting, a French door into the backyard, a strong native plant palette and a clean contemporary design.
The project simultaneously developed architectural and landscape renovations into a single integrated design. The kitchen remodel included accessing the landscape through new French door and deck remodel.
The 1700-gallon rainwater system supplies the irrigation system, toilets and washing machine for the residence.Corten steel walls and gates complement the cedar fencing and stone work as a singular contemporary design statement.
